Brand-new apartments: Arcadia in Yeronga, The Green at Tarragindi and The Verge at Burleigh on the Gold Coast offer modern 1, 2 and 3-bedroom apartments built to Livable Housing Australia’s Gold Standard. Tarragal Glen on the Central Coast has 42 new architecturally designed apartments, and Wood Glen offers The Rise with 58 luxury apartments.

Pets are welcome at the majority of RetireAustralia’s retirement villages. Many homes include private courtyards or gardens, although some guidelines apply around the types of pets suited to village life, so it’s worth checking with your preferred community for the specifics.

Costs vary between villages and home types. Generally, you’ll pay an entry payment along with monthly service fees covering maintenance, insurance, rates and access to shared facilities. Service fees are set on a cost-recovery basis, meaning RetireAustralia cannot profit from them.
Payment options vary by village and may include a prepaid management fee contract, a deferred management fee contract, or a no management fee contract. To find out which options are available at your preferred village, speak with a Sales Consultant.
Ongoing service fees contribute to maintenance of buildings and gardens, insurance and council rates, and operation of shared facilities and services. During your first appointment with our team, we can run through any questions you have regarding on going fees for your preferred village.
Communities are generally not available for rent. Most operate under a leasehold or licence model, where you pay an entry amount for the right to live in your home long-term.
In most communities under a leasehold or licence model, RetireAustralia owns the property and you secure long-term occupancy rights. In select communities offering freehold strata, you own your home outright, with stamp duty and strata fees applying.
Facilities vary by community but are designed to support an active and social lifestyle, including shared indoor and outdoor spaces for recreation, wellbeing and connection.
While communities are designed for independent living, support options are available including serviced apartments and Support at Home services covering household help, personal care and nursing.
